Did someone say SKIP?
We have started a SKIPPING CRAZE in Room 17. We started by learning how to skip and each day learned a new trick. NOW, we can criss cross and double under:)
Winter Sport has started! Some of us are in a Belfast School Team playing Football, Netball, Hockey and Rugby. We go by bus to Rangiora to compete against other schools. Each week the coach chooses two children to be 'Good Sports' which means we were showing the Belfast Values of Care, Share, Learn and Grow.
In class, we are learning multiplication strategies, how to write paragraphs and learning about Japan and the Olympics. Today we learned how to use a compass to draw circles. Then we will be able to draw the Olympic Rings :)
Great to see that everyone is getting along in Term 2. Hope you do well in Winter Sport. I also just started my Winter Sport. We do ours on Tuesdays though.
